Holiday World adds 7 additional days to operations

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Officials say seven days have been added to the August operating calendar for Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari.

Officials note these days total more than 60 additional hours for the month of August. The additional days are August 5 through 9 and August 12 and 13.

“It’s even easier to enjoy America’s Top Theme Park this year with our new expanded calendar,” says Leah Koch-Blumhardt, Director of Communications and Fourth-Generation Owner. “We’re excited that the index recognized the value of visiting our two parks at one price along with Free Unlimited Soft Drinks, Free Parking, and Free Sunscreen. This summer, many larger parks have minimized their operating calendars. We’re proud to be adding to ours.”

Holiday World officials say the “Holidays in the Sky Drone and Fireworks Spectacular” event runs daily through August 4. Kids World, which includes all the rides and slides of Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari as well as entertainment, activities and food geared toward kids, begins August 17.
