Sabrina Carpenter fans divided as she sells panties to promote global Short n' Sweet tour

Sabrina Carpenter put up a listing for underwear on her web store .

The breakout musician , known best for her scandalous lyrics and sexual innuendos, leaned into her brand further by selling a pack of undies as merchandise. In a pack of seven, the underwear are denoted with a different day of the week in a range of pastel color text. Across the backside, in a 'tramp stamp' type location is written "Short n' Sweet" the name of the pop star's upcoming tour and album.

Rather than a more risqué and lacy look, Sabrina opted for standard-cut panties, only sold in white. One fan called the style "granny panties."

Fans had mixed reviews on the product, but some were downright disappointed. A fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: "I was excited thinking they'd be some silly or lacy little cuties and they're just... this."

Another fan added that they'll be "soiling myself in style" while a third chimed in that they "unironically need" the panties. Many were pleased to see that she was staying "very on brand." However, other fans didn't seem to understand the day of the week print, a call back to the early '00s.

"Has no one seen underwear before??? i’m confused these are so cute lmao," said one fan. Another added: "Omg guys the gen z fans are confused by this idk how I’m feeling rn."

European fans had their prayers answered, too. "We wanted tour dates NOT UNDERWEAR," wrote one fan. Luckily for them, Sabrina announced a global tour via email only minutes later. She wrote: "ahhhh europe + the uk i'm coming!!! can’t wait to see you all there."

Other merchandise released included an LP vinyl with an alternative album cover, baby tees, a pillow, a tote bag, and more. This isn't the first time that Sabrina used underwear in her merch line. The star previously listed a "lingerie tee" which is an oversized t-shirt with a blue lingerie teddy printed on it.

Sabrina posed in her own lingerie in a bold SKIMS photoshoot. The star wore an array of pastel sets, posing in retro style pictures.
