    2024 chip sealing

    WASHBURN COUNTY - The Washburn County Highway Department plans to chip seal and fog seal roads throughout the county during the weeks of July 22 and 29.

    Hot oil and rock will be placed. The recommended speed limit will be 35 mph. Watch for flaggers.

    Roads to be worked on:

    County Highway I (Highway 77 to Big Sand Road)

    County Highway G (Highway 77 to the Douglas County line)

    County Highway M (Highway 63 to the railroad tracks north of Stanberry)

    County Highway E (Peters Road to Highway 63)

    County Highway K (Pair o'Lakes to Rappy)

    County Highway D (Shallow Lake Road to Highway 53)

    Town of Crystal - Veazie Road (Trego town line heading east 1,500 feet)

    Town of Springbrook - Larson Road (Highway 63 to the town line)

    Town of Bass Lake - Stone Lake Road (Peters Road to the Stone Lake town line)

    Town of Evergreen - Tower Hill Road (County Highway A to Highway 70), Fox Road (Little Bass Lake Road heading east approximately 1 mile and from Stumph Road to County Highway N), Little Valley Road (Keller Road to County Highway E) and Dock Lake Road (South County Highway A Termini to west of Crooked Road)

    Expect flagging operations from 6:30 a.m. through 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday each week.

    Plan accordingly.
