'Too Much Drama' Led To Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck's Marital Woes

The rumored rift in Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck 's marriage reportedly stems from "too much drama" as well as the pair's "different personalities."

Multiple sources have claimed to OK! Magazine that Lopez and Affleck's clashing personalities is part of the reason they are reportedly "over," with one source telling the outlet that the "On the Floor" singer was Affleck's "dream woman" but that there was "drama all the time" in their relationship, per Page Six .

"He's feeling down about it and is upset and depressed it didn't work out, even though he knows ending it is the right thing to do," the source said.

Their differing lifestyles also reportedly played a part in their marital woes, with the source pointing out how Lopez "has a big entourage that follows her around daily," like assistants, a glam squad, trainers and photographers.

"She's tried to make Ben understand that being Jennifer Lopez is a 24/7 job," the source said. "She is her brand, she lives and breathes it while Ben can leave his work at the door if he chooses to. Jennifer's keeping her head up. She doesn't want to be seen as the villain."

Another source claimed that the couple, who first tied the knot in July 2022 one year after rekindling their romance, often have different commitments that kept them apart.

"They have gone through phases where things haven't been as great between them due to their different personalities and not getting enough time together," the source said, adding, "They're not always on the same page. They both have so much going on between taking care of their families and their work commitments and it can be a lot for them."

Lopez and Affleck celebrated their second wedding anniversary this week; however, they did not mark the occasion together. Instead, they spent the day on separate coasts , with Lopez biking around the Hamptons and Affleck remaining in Los Angeles for work.

Despite the rumored marital troubles, Lopez was also recently seen walking arm-in-arm with Affleck's oldest daughter, 18-year-old Violet . The stepmother/daughter duo were spotted looking "so happy," wrapping their arms around each other as they enjoyed quality time together.
