One dead following work place accident in Anderson County

One person is dead after being electrocuted in the Upstate, Thursday morning. The Anderson County Coroner's Office has confirmed that they responded to the area of Vanguard Road for a death by electrocution.

The Sheriff's Office says the death happened as part of a workplace accident and the call came in from the Anderson Regional Water System.

There's been no further details released on the incident, as of the time of this report. We plan to have more on this story as new information emerges.
