Glen, NH – Storyland, the popular amusement park in Glen, has quietly introduced a new paid parking option. Visitors may be surprised to find that the park now offers a preferred parking system, charging $10 per day for the most sought-after spaces.

Season pass holders can still enjoy these preferred spots at no extra cost, but the change has not been widely announced, leaving many guests unaware. Social media posts reveal a mix of reactions, with some visitors expressing shock and frustration over the unexpected fee.

The park’s management has not yet made an official statement regarding the implementation of the paid parking system. As the summer season continues, guests are advised to check for any updates or changes to parking policies before their visit.

UPDATE: Today in an email Lauren Fullerton, Story Land Director of Marketing said this "The park continues to offer free parking for Season Passholders and in the general parking lot on a first-come-first-serve basis. More information about parking can be found here: https://www.storylandnh.com/prepare-your-visit/relevant-information/how-to-arrive-directions"

When asked when this was introduced and why the Park did not publicize this change via social media, a banner on their website or email blast Lauren replied "Preferred parking was introduced a few weeks ago. All passholders were notified via email and there is a notice at the bottom of all ticket confirmation emails for guests to learn more."

We have spoken to a couple season pass holders who advised they never received an email related to a change in parking. Some social media comments on shares of this article express a general displeasure with the new ownership of the park, mentions of the park trying to charge an additonal fee for their new water feature Moo Lagoon then retracting it. Overall, commenters appear to be very disappointed in this new change and see it as an attempt to fleece park goers.

Lauren did not respond when asked if customers who purchased tickets prior to the change were notified in any way and why the park did not take more steps to get the word out about this change.
