Dinwiddie County Fair to bring performances, food and exhibits in October

DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Dinwiddie County Fair will be bringing performances, rides, food and exhibits to Virginia Motorsports Park in October.

The fair will span from Friday, Oct. 4 through Sunday, Oct. 6 at the park, located at 8018 Boydton Plank Road in North Dinwiddie.

According to the county, attendees can expect to watch live music performances and performances, go on rides, eat a variety of food and view agricultural exhibits.

Sunday will feature Faith at the Fair and Military Appreciation Day.

The county said it will be transitioning from paying by carload to individual admission fees.

The following are the fair’s new admission prices:

Adults ages 18 through 64: $10 each
Children ages 5 through 18: $5 each
Children under 5: Free
Seniors aged 65 and up : $7

Those who wish to purchase tickets online before the fair can do so on the county’s website .
