Triptii Dimri is gearing up for the release of her highly-anticipated romantic comedy Bad Newz. The actress rose to fame and became the national crush after her appearance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal last year. Since then, fans have been awaiting to see her on the silver screen again.

Bad Newz also stars Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk in the lead roles. The actor is set to reprise his role as Rooh Baba in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with Triptii Dimri as the leading lady.

The movie will also see the return of Vidya Balan to the franchise. She will play the iconic role of Manjulika. Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, Rajesh Sharma, and others will portray supporting characters. The film is set against the backdrop of Kolkata but details about its plot are currently under wraps.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to hit the theaters on Diwali 2024.

Dhadak 2

Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi will play the lead in the upcoming romance drama Dhadak 2. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the movie will focus on the social issue of casteism in the society. The announcement teaser confirmed that it will follow the tragic story of Neelesh and Vidisha whose love is forced to face the wrath of the community.

The caption of the Instagram post read, “Yaha kahani hai thodi alag kyuki ek that raja, ek thi rani, jaat alag thi, khatam kahani (This story is a little different because there once lived a king and a queen – the caste was different…end of the story).” Dhadak 2’s precursor Dhadak, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, was based on the practice of honor killing. Moreover, it was the official Hindi remake of the Marathi film, Sairat.

Animal Park

Triptii Dimri’s performance in the 2023 movie Animal stole the show. She portrayed the role of Zoya and quickly became the fan favorite. As the Ranbir Kapoor starrer ended with the appearance of another villain in the story, its makers confirmed its sequel, Animal Park. Dimri will reprise her role in the film and her character is likely to be pregnant.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga is directing the movie and the buzz around it is quite high. While the director is focused on his other projects, an update on Animal Park’s production is awaited.

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video

Triptii Dimri will also be seen in the upcoming movie Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Rajkummar Rao will play the lead opposite her in this Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial. The film allegedly revolves around a couple whose intimate video gets leaked.

Announcing the movie’s release date, Dimri wrote, “Get ready to rewind to the retro era with #VickyVidyaKaWohWalaVideo. Can’t wait for you to experience the magic! Coming on 11th Oct 2024.”
