Sean Dyche is continuing his steady squad rebuild at Everton ahead of the 2024/25 season.

The Toffees have been busy in the transfer market in recent weeks, with Senegalese international Iliman Ndiaye joining from Marseille and Tim Iroegbunam arriving from Aston Villa.

Lewis Dobbin traded places with Iroegbunam at Villa Park, and midfield star Amadou Onana is also closing in on a move to join Unai Emery's UEFA Champions League qualifiers.

Jack Harrison has returned to Goodison Park, on another season-long loan deal, but Dyche wants to bring in another winger to deepen his attacking options.

Everton are rumoured to have seen a £20 million ($26m) bid rejected for Leeds United star Wilfried Gnont o last summer, but they remain interested in the Italian international.

The 20-year-old netted eight EFL Championship goals last season, as Leeds missed out on Premier League promotion with defeat in the playoff final.

However, with Leeds potentially demanding an increased fee for Gnonto, Everton are now looking at other options.

Liverpool Echo reporter Joe Thomas has flagged up fresh links to Napoli's Jesper Lindstrom, with the Serie A side looking to offload players in the coming weeks.

The Danish international only joined Napoli last summer, but with pressure growing to balance the books in Naples, he could be sold off.

Everton kickoff their preseason campaign on July 19 up against Irish club Sligo Rovers.
