‘The Bear’ leads the Emmy nomination pack

Hit dramedy The Bear – as shown with the impressive number of nominations listed above – is leading the pack with a record-setting 23 nods, the most in a single year. The show dethroned 30 Rock , which held the previous Emmy record with 22 nominations back in 2009. Shogun also came in swinging in 2024, rounding out the Drama nominations with 25 nods.

Jeremy Allen White – who leads The Bear as Carmy – took home the 2023 Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Many are expecting a repeat win by the impressive actor.

“I’m so proud. I’m so full of gratitude to be standing in front of you all. I love the show so much. It filled me up. It gave me a passion, it set a fire in me to match the beautiful work done by [creators] Christopher Storer and Joanna Calo,” White said in his acceptance speech. “The beautiful cast and beautiful crew I get to share a space and stage with.
