    Montgomery County offering free ‘back-to-school’ vaccines

    MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Children in Montgomery County can get free vaccinations ahead of the school year, officials said.

    Children from pre-K through high school can go to any of the four vaccination clinics for a free “back-to-school” vaccine.

    Montgomery County officials said that appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are also available. You can make an appointment online.

    Parents must come with their children and need to bring a valid ID. If their child has an immunization record, they should also bring that.

    The following vaccines are available:

    • Tdap
    • Meningococcal (MCV4)
    • Meningococcal B
    • Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
    • Varicella (chickenpox)
    • COVID-19

    Montgomery County is offering appointments at these locations:
