Labette County schools continues to offer free/reduced lunches

LABETTE COUNTY, Kan. (KOAM) - The Labette County school district 506 announces the school lunches will continue to provide free or reduced lunches to those who qualify.

The school district, along with several others in the area, applied for the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) that offers the entire school or district the ability to benefit from free school lunches based on the economic health of the community, compared to just the family.

However, Labette USD 506 did not qualify for the CEP program, the district will continue to offer free/reduced lunches based on individual family financial need.
