They’ve reached the four corners of the globe; extending an invitation to people of all cultures to experience the cuisine of the Diaspora. Although the Black-owned restaurants in Ireland aren’t as plentiful as other destinations, the restaurateurs there are cooking delicious food and impacting the community. With diverse flavors, cuisines, and culinary styles, here are a few Black-owned restaurants to check out throughout Ireland.

    Soul Eats

    For savory, Jamaican-style soul food in Dublin, plan a visit to Soul Eats. Located at the Finglas Business Park, Soul Eats offers catering services and the option to dine in. In addition to Jamaican favorites like rice and peas and curry goat, they also have a variety of seafood boils and African-inspired dishes. The restaurant is open Thursday through Sunday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. It’s a great spot to stop for a quick taste of the Caribbean.

They aim to create a curated experience for guests, elevated with great drinks, incredible food, and community vibes. Fashion and literature are major components of these events and Hi-Spirits has partnered with other brands to create cultural dialogues in Dublin.
