WARREN COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — More than two decades after a teen vanished from Warren County, the sheriff’s office is urging anyone who might have information on her disappearance to come forward.

Ramona Mae Priest, also known as Mona, has been missing since Feb. 6, 2001. According to officials, Priest was last seen leaving the city jail on Security Circle in McMinnville when she was just 19 years old.

She left behind all of her belongings, as well as her infant child. No sightings of her have been reported since that day. Her family considered her disappearance highly unusual, telling investigators it was unlike Priest to not stay in touch with them.

Authorities said Priest had received some threats from people before she went missing, but those individuals still have not been identified. Detectives suspect foul play may have been involved in her case.

Little else is known about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance. However, even after 23 years, the sheriff’s office is continuing to search for any information that could help deputies find Priest.

When she was last seen, Priest weighed about 125 pounds, was 5 feet, 2 inches tall and had blue eyes with blonde hair that she had dyed a black-burgundy color. She wore small, framed glasses and had a tattoo on her right wrist.

The tattoo was of a “Bad Boy” face in light blue and green ink with the initials “J.G.” written above it in black ink. Priest also had multiple scars on her right eyebrow and right knee, as well as a red birthmark on the back of her neck at her hairline.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Warren County Sheriff’s Office at 931-473-8032 , the McMinnville Police Department at 931-473-3808 , or the District Attorney’s Office at 931-473-9572 .

“The information you have could be the information we need to locate Ms. Priest,” the sheriff’s office said in a July 16 social media post regarding the case.
