A Laughing Rival to the Lamborghini Urus.

The era of powerful, combustion-engine SUVs may be nearing its end as automakers, including Jeep under the Stellantis umbrella, shift focus to electric vehicles. However, the legacy of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk remains strong among petrolheads who appreciate raw, unbridled power. The Trackhawk, known for its formidable Hellcat V8 engine, continues to captivate enthusiasts even though it's no longer in production.

Despite the new generation Grand Cherokee lacking the thrilling V8 option, the Trackhawk’s reputation endures. This is exemplified by a stunning widebody Trackhawk recently spotted, showcasing how this super SUV still commands attention. Its latest transformation includes a widebody kit, custom wheels, and a unique matte sandy wrap with a distinctive black and red racing stripe.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, known for its muscular stance, has been enhanced with extremely wide fender flares and an aggressive front apron reminiscent of Japan’s Bosozoku car culture. Additional modifications include side add-ons, a vented hood, and a new diffuser, making this SUV look even more menacing.

One of the standout features of this particular Trackhawk is its 11x22-inch Forgiato wheels, wrapped in 315/35 tires, ensuring it grips the road with authority. The red brake calipers behind the black alloys add a touch of color contrast, while the interior boasts a Rolls-Royce-like starlight headliner, hinting at further custom touches that remain unseen.

While the exterior and interior modifications are impressive, the heart of the Trackhawk remains its most compelling feature. The supercharged 6.2L V8 engine produces an astounding 707 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque. This powerhouse allows the SUV to sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds and complete a quarter-mile in approximately 11 seconds. This performance positions the Trackhawk as a serious contender against other high-performance SUVs like the Lamborghini Urus and even some older supercars.

The enduring appeal of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk lies in its ability to deliver exhilarating performance and standout styling. As the automotive industry moves towards electrification, the Trackhawk will remain a symbol of the golden age of high-powered, combustion-engine SUVs. For enthusiasts who relish the roar of a V8 and the thrill of acceleration, the Trackhawk continues to be a benchmark of automotive excellence.
