Shopping thrift stores can be a lot of fun, because you can find so many different treasures in the most unexpected of places. But all of those treasures can quickly pile up in and around your home, making you realize why some people end up donating such great stuff in the first place.

That is, unless you're this woman who has found the perfect use for all of the cool baskets she finds every time she hits the secondhand shops. We know this is a pretty simple DIY to pull together, but we'd be lying if we said we weren't impressed by how nice this finished product looks!

According to @mopo_96 , she's been "junkin" since before it was cool. And while we are old enough that we can't remember a time when it wasn't cool, it's obvious from the things that she's been able to do with all of the fun items that she collects, that she's really learned a thing or two along the way.

Take that basket wall, for instance. You have to have a vision and a lot of patience to put something like this together, especially if happened over a long period of time.

We know we say this quite a bit, but we're impressed!

For instance, this mama -to-be saw a bunch of deflated basketballs and saw a ton of potential, prompting her to turn these lifeless balls into something special. After molding them into just the right shape, and figuring out exactly how to get them to hang on her wall (it's a coat rack hook, brilliant) she was able to create a three dimensional art installment that her little baller is bound to love!

And the fun of this idea is that you can actually try it with a few different types of balls, including soccer, volleyball, and more! All you need is some patience, access to old or damaged sporting equipment, and the desire to create something so unique that people will be talking about it for years to come!

Thrifting a Collection of Things Makes for Cool Decorations

It's clear from both of these women's designs that there's a lot of potential lurking out there in the world. All you need to do is give yourself the time and the permission to mess around with your ideas until you figure out exactly what you're going to do with all those little treasures you uncover along the way.

Now, go forth and hit the thrift stores and yard sales and start figuring out what item you're going to collect in the name of art!
