Do you ever look at an area of your home and think, "I am so over this"? Because that's exactly what happened to this mom who could no longer stand to look at her boring front porch for one more day. The interior of her home is so beautiful but the outside was simply not doing it any justice. So she decided to give the porch a total DIY upgrade.

Turns out, this process is a lot easier than you might expect! All she needed was a little bit of paint and a whole lot of patience. The final result is stunning and fits her aesthetic perfectly. You might just need to try this on your home!

Chances are if you're into furniture flipping and general home DIYs, then you probably already know all about TikTok creator Kylie ( @kyliekatich ). This girl is the queen of home projects and we have been in love with her work for months now, from her various furniture up-cycles to her epic dining room makeover. She will give just about anything a try!

While the inside of her home has a gorgeous aesthetic, Kylie's front porch was simply not matching the vibe. While she had tried to pretty it up with some outdoor furniture and plants, the plain cracked and stained concrete flooring was not what she wanted at all. So she decided to give it a makeover. On her own of course!

3 Steps to Renovating a Concrete Front Porch

Here's what Kylie did to rejuvenate her space.

    1. Clean

There was months of caked up dirt and grime sitting on Kylie's porch so first things first: she got a power washer and went to town on the concrete. This is definitely the most satisfying part of all. She also wanted to make sure her paint would have a smooth foundation.

    2. Caulk

Since her porch had a bunch of cracks, Kylie got out her tube of caulk and filled in all of the gaps, including the ones right in front of the front door.

    3. Paint

If you give this a try, make sure to use concrete-specific paint otherwise your paint will definitely chip! Kylie started with two coats of white paint before starting on her pattern. She grabbed a 16 inch by 16 inch scrap piece of wood and used it as a stencil to draw out a checkered pattern. Finally, she took some neutral tan paint and carefully filled in every other square until the entire porch was done.

    It looks so gorgeous!
