Mall of America's FlyOver America launches new Fly Africa! ride

FlyOver America at the Mall of America is offering a trip to Africa without the actual trip across the Atlantic.

The Mall's flight simulator has launched Fly Africa!, a new limited-time experience that brings riders on an aerial tour across the wilderness of Africa.

The ride, which lifts visitors in the air to imitate flight, soars over wildlife migrations in Kenya's savannahs, flamingo gatherings around Lake Turkana, jungles, volcanos, the Pyramids, and more.

FlyOver America, which opened at the mall in 2016 , has previously offered its standard FlyOver America experience, as well as Fly Hawaii and other holiday-themed simulated tours.

Fly Africa! is open now and will run through Aug. 14. MOA Insiders get 30% off admission through the mall's app. Standard tickets cost $23.99 or $17.99 for riders 12 and under.
