Caitlin Clark's Clear Change in Physical Appearance Catches ESPN's Attention

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever suffered a disappointing 101-93 defeat to the Dallas Wings on Wednesday night.

Despite the loss, Clark set the WNBA record for most assists in a game, with 19. She also added 24 points and 6 rebounds while playing all 40 minutes in the game.

Per usual, the ESPN broadcast of the game spent a lot of time talking about the Fever's rookie sensation.

But one comment that was made about her physical appearance turned a lot of heads.

The ESPN broadcast team noted last night that Clark has put on more than two pounds of muscle over the past month alone.

Clark looks visibly stronger when pictures of her from earlier this season are compared to how she has looked in recent games.

And this surely helps explain how the rookie is shooting 71% from within 5 feet of the basket in the month of July, compared to shooting 56% from the same range in the previous months.

Clark will surely spend even more time in the weight room during this upcoming month off for the Olympics.

Therefore, perhaps Clark will look even stronger once her and the Fever start playing games again in August.
