VIDEO: 1 hurt, 5 units destroyed in Horry County fire

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Five residential units were destroyed and one person suffered minor injuries after a two-alarm fire Thursday in the Galivants Ferry area, Horry County Fire Rescue said.

It happened in the 2000 block of Winburn Road, HCFR said. Crews responded at 12:27 p.m. and the fire was under control by 2:30 p.m. A video of the fire provided by HCFR is at the top of this story.

Displaced residents will be assisted by the American Red Cross of South Carolina. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
