Alexis Bellino is romanticizing her meet-cute

During the Season 18 premiere of the Real Housewives of Orange County, Alexis was all about setting the record straight. Alexis noted, “November 18 is the day that John Janssen walked into my life. I met John at Quiet Woman. We tried to fight the feelings. After week two, John and I knew. That was it. Unfortunately, your heart wants what it wants. And here we are. Take us or leave us.” The entire story came across as a Romeo and Juliet moment, straight from the pages of Shakespeare. The way Alexis spoke about their first meeting was like a 16-year-old first in love would.

I could literally see the tiny hearts dancing around her head as she spoke about John. There is no doubt that Alexis is already planning her wedding to him. According to Alexis the meeting happening “by happenstance.” The born-again housewife noted, “It was honestly just a random night that two of my guy friends wanted me to take them to The Quiet Woman — I’ve been going there for decades and know the staff there — so, they were like, ‘We want to go with you.'” Chances would have it that John was there, and the duo mingled. Alexis added, “I mean, we couldn’t really stop it.”

Alexis definitely has enjoyed the attention that has come her way, thanks to her new beau. Shortly after their relationship was announced, Alexis took to her Instagram to show off a ring on that special finger. The 47-year-old shared her Christmas present, and much to fans’ surprise, it looked to be a diamond ring. While showing off her new Vancleef Arpels bling, Alexis captioned her photo by writing, “Words cannot. Actions do. I will no longer feel guilty. I will not apologize. Love will create its own story. I love you, Johnny J.” However she did make sure to point out that it was just a promise ring.

But her hopes are up. Alexis recently gave a major update to E! , Saying, “We have looked at engagement rings. We are talking about the future for sure.” Even though fans of the Real Housewives of Orange County are doubting the relationship Alexis is standing firm in her feelings. She went on to say, “We’re amazing. It gets better every day. We both are kind of like ‘pinch me’ in the fact that we truly found like a best friend and someone that we want to ride the rest of this life out with together. It’s pretty amazing.”

Shannon Beador has thoughts

Shannon Beador has some thoughts about how quickly the couple is taking the next steps, especially after less than a year of dating. Shannon told the outlet, “That’s John Janssen. At two weeks, he said I was his person and his future, so they’re following the John Janssen course. I didn’t get a ring, but I thought right away that I was going to spend the rest of my life with John. He moves very quickly.”

Luckily, Shannon doesn’t seem too bothered by John’s new fast-pass relationship – except she is. The mother of three stated, “Good for them, be happy. From the outside looking in, it looks to me that there are ulterior motives on both sides for them to be in a relationship, so we’ll see. I’m grateful that John isn’t in my life because we had a very toxic relationship. I’m grateful.”

Even though John has received a lot of backlash from fans, Alexis is keeping a positive attitude. She explained that their relationship is 100 percent “organic.” It feels like it could be any day now that John drops down to one knee.
