Black Cat Helpfully Brings His Own Snacks to Hang Out with Humans

For whatever reason, some of our cats are kleptomaniacs, especially when it comes to delicious bakery items. If you're the proud owner of a cat, the following video might look like your everyday morning struggle with a feline bread bandit.

Just check out this black kitty who came to the function totally prepared.

The hilarious video was shared by the TikTok account @ Osmosisjonesfanaccount and so many people  can relate. One person commented, "Loaf recognizes loaf." Another added, "My cats do this too. I found a bag of bagels in the bathroom the other day" Someone else said, "What is it with cats and bread?? Our ginger cat goes crazy when we open the breadbox. like he'll wake up from dead sleep and fly to you."

One of my cat does this and unless I hide bread or rolls or any bread product in the bread box, he will either steal it or chew holes in the plastic bag,

So why do our weirdo cats do stuff like this, besides the obvious reason: bread is delicious.

So, What's With Cats Carrying Things In Their Mouths?

You may catch your own cat carrying something in their mouth, and I'm not talking about normal things to carry, like a fur mouse or crinkle ball, I think we all know it's pretty obvious cats can't carry things with their paws really so they have to use their mouths. I'm talking about the cats who steal weird things to lug around the house. Like your bra.

This weird behavior could be something your cat remembers from being a little baby kitten . Mama cats carry their kittens by the scruff of their necks to move them to safer locations or to a place they would rather have their kitten be. This behavior can extend to carrying other objects, especially if they see them as "babies" or items that need protection. So that sock your cat insists on carrying around come be seen as their baby , awwwww!

Some cats form attachments to certain objects, such as toys or blankets, and carrying these items can provide them with comfort and a sense of security, like this cat who insists on carrying blankets everywhere .

Your cat may also view whatever it is they are carrying, like the cat above with the hot dog buns, as their prey. They've stalked it and killed it and now they need to find a quiet place to eat it.
