The princess is getting in touch with nature.

Kate Middleton, 42, has returned to Instagram after her Wimbledon appearance , indicating she may quietly be returning to some royal duties.

In a series of Instagram stories posted on Thursday, Middleton shared her support of the London Natural History Museum, which opened a free outdoor gallery that same day, along with a “living laboratory” to support nature’s recovery from climate change.

Middleton wrote, “I am hugely supportive of the Museum’s commitment to create a special space which encourages people of all ages to reconnect with nature and learn more about how we can protect our natural world.”

She also posted footage of her visit to the museum three years ago.

“I know the power of nature to support our development and wellbeing, both by bringing us joy and helping to keep us physically, mentally and spiritually healthy,” she continued. “I hope these gardens will be inspiring and transformative for the thousands of people who visit.”

Despite the new post, there are no upcoming official work duties on her schedule.

Middleton recently appeared at Wimbledon, with her daughter, Princess Charlotte, and her sister, Pippa Middleton, amid her cancer battle.

“This will have given her sustenance,” a palace insider told People , after Middleton was greeted with a standing ovation.

“She has gone through something awful and stressful, and it is crucial to have little wins to look forward to or to give you the courage and energy to go forward. And this was it.”

Middleton revealed her cancer diagnosis to the world in March, following months of speculation about why she had withdrawn from the spotlight.

Robert Jobson, author of the new book “ Catherine, the Princess of Wales: A Biography of the Future Queen ,” told People, “Before, she used to live her life by the calendar, and now she is living her life, and the calendar comes in after.”

He added, “She will be back, but when you have had an experience like this, it changes your perspective and the order of things.”

Earlier in June, she made her first public appearance since her cancer news at the Trooping the Colour ceremony .

At the time, Queen Elizabeth’s former press secretary, Ailsa Anderson, told People , “She might be the Princess of Wales, but she is still a mother and wife and going through the same set of emotions and worries and fears as anyone else in that set of circumstances would be.”

Before returning to the spotlight at Trooping the Colour, Middleton shared a new update on her health.

In June, Middleton wrote an emotional letter, saying, “I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family,” she said, referring to Trooping the Colour.

She added, “And hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet.”

“I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days,” Middleton continued.

“I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much-needed time to heal.”
