On Wednesday night, Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark set the all-time single-game WNBA assist record with 19 dimes in a loss to the Dallas Wings.

Clark has shattered WNBA assist records at every turn early in her professional career — but this accomplishment is arguably the most impressive.

Clark's 19 assists captured the attention of prominent figures around the basketball world — including WNBA legend Tamika Catchings.

"Okkkkkk @caitlinclark22 #JustGettingStarted," Catchings wrote on her Instagram story in response to Clark's record-breaking performance.

Catchings is right. Clark really is just getting started.

The WNBA's No. 1 overall pick has accomplished all of these historic feats midway through her rookie campaign. And if this start is any indication, she has plenty more records to shatter in what should be a long and successful WNBA career.

Clark will suit up with the rest of the 2024 WNBA All-Star Team as they face off against Team USA in a highly-anticipated matchup on July 20. Another women's basketball icon, Cheryl Miller, will serve as head coach of the WNBA All-Star Team.
