Caitlin Clark's Incredible WNBA Stats Prove that She Deserved Team USA Roster Spot

One of the most controversial topics of the 2024 WNBA season has been Caitlin Clark's absence on the Team USA Olympic roster. Coming out of college, no player showed more promise than Clark, and she has fully lived up to the hype for the Indiana Fever since entering the WNBA.

Unfortunately, for some reason, she was left off the Team USA roster multiple times, even as a replacement for injury. Many fans believe it is due to Team USA head coach Cheryl Reeve's opinion on Clark, as she has said some pretty harsh things about her. Fortunately for Clark, not only did she get her revenge on Reeve in a victory over the Lynx, but she is also leading the Team USA guards in almost every major statistical category.

Statistically speaking, Clark absolutely deserves to be on the Olympic team. It is really a shame that she won't be representing Team USA. That said, she will get some much needed rest, and her time in the Olympics will come in the future.
