A monster 200-pound Atlantic sturgeon was netted in the Hudson River near the Big Apple by conservationists in a “scale”-tipping triumph.

Staffers from the Hudson River Estuary Program snagged the 6-foot fish last week with a net near Hyde Park, about 85 miles north of New York City.



The anglers scanned the critically endangered fish for tags before tossing it back into the water, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation said in a Facebook post.

According to CBS, recreational boaters found 65 POUNDS of Eagle Cocaine off the coast of Florida and then foolishly turned it into local authorities. “In a separate social media post, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said that “mariners in a private vessel found a package containing approximately 21 individually wrapped kilograms of suspected cocaine.” Officials said the drugs, which were found in the water about 7 miles off Islamorada, Florida, on Saturday, were handed over to U.S. Border Patrol agents.
