    Firefighters put out apartment fire in District Heights

    DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Prince George’s County firefighters put out an apartment fire in District Heights on Thursday.

    In a post on the X platform, the Prince George’s County Fire and EMS Department said that units responded to the 1600 block of Addison Rd. S around 3 p.m. for the fire.

    The fire broke out on the second floor of an apartment.

    As of 4 p.m., officials said that the fire had been extinguished.

    No injuries were reported. Investigators were working to determine what caused the fire.
