Today, WB Games and NetherRealm Studios announced the arrival of Spawn in Mortal KombatMobile. Keith David, who voiced the character in HBO’s animated series Todd McFarlane’s Spawn, reprised his role. Image Comic’s demonic antihero is included in the game’s 5.4 update, which also adds new events and more.
What was revealed about Mortal Kombat Mobile’s Spawn?
Mortal Kombat Mobile’s Tormented Soul Spawn is a Nomad Class Diamond Tier character. His Hellraiser ability passively generates Necroplasm over time. Spawn can then use his stored Necroplasm to heal himself and his allies or deliver devastating counterattacks.
Players can also battle a boss version of Tormented Soul Spawn in a new Mortal Kombat mobile event. They can equip their characters with themed gear as they scale the Hellspawn Towers, battling bosses like Spawn and Hellspawn Scorpion. Players are guaranteed to unlock a Diamond Fighter upon completing the tower. They can also challenge the Fatal Hellspawn Tower for an increased chance to unlock Spawn.
The standard Hellspawn Tower runs from July 17 to August 28 and has an increased chance to drop the following characters:
Spawn also isn’t the only new character coming to Mortal Kombat Mobile. Onslaught Jax ignites the battlefield with his iconic blazing fists. WB Games also announced that MK1 Kenshi is coming in a future update.
Mortal Kombat Mobile Update 5.4 also adds new Friendships for Kano, Lu Kang, and Raiden and a new Brutality for Kenshi. Players can also enhance their roster with the new Fusion Up Kards. Players can also check the full patch notes for details on bug fixes and other improvements.
