HERMAN, Wis. -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday a third person has died as a result of a four-vehicle traffic crash in east-central Dodge County last month.

On June 19, the Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a multiple-vehicle crash with serious injuries and entrapment on State Highway 33, between Pierce Road and Town Hall Road. The initial investigation found a westbound 17-year-old driver crossed over the center line and struck an eastbound pickup truck. The pickup truck spiraled and struck a following eastbound car, and a fourth car following that one had minor damage from either debris or light contact.

The Sheriff's Office said the driver and passenger in the pickup truck, 84-year-old Roland Greuel and 79-year-old Shirley Greuel, of Hustisford, were pronounced dead at the scene after being freed from the truck. The driver of the third vehicle, 71-year-old David Fox, of Shorewood, died July 17 due to the injuries he received as a result of the crash.

The Sheriff's Office said the 17-year-old driver's name will not be released, due to his status as a minor. The crash remains under investigation.
