There’s no denying that Katy Perry is looking phenomenal these days – and part of it could be down to her epic 20-lb weight loss!

With new music on the way , it’s not surprising to learn that the 39-year-old “Roar” singer has been working on getting into the best shape of her life. But how did she do it? According to insiders, the mom-of-one did *not* go down the weight loss injections route that so many other A-listers have gone down in recent months, and instead, switched up her diet and exercise routine.

Katy Perry Reportedly Dropped 20 Lbs. By Cutting Sugar And Working Out

According to Life & Style , fiancé Orlando Bloom helped the "Harleys in Hawaii" singer with a grueling workout regime that very obviously seems to have worked wonders. Insiders claimed that cutting back on sugar also really helped her drop the pounds, while also reiterating that her weight loss was *not* down to Ozempic or any other weight loss drugs.

"Katy is paying no attention to the people accusing her of using Ozempic, but she does admit she couldn't have done this without Orlando's help," an insider shared with the pub.

Another source told the pub that the Pirates of the Caribbean star has "been on a huge push" to get in the best shape of his life, which helped motivate the former American Idol judge to follow suit. If we didn't already think they were one of the best-looking Hollywood couples, we certainly will after their joint glow up!

Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom's Diet And Exercise Routine

An insider shared some of the steps Katy and Orlando take every day – and it certainly sounds like they are very dedicated!

"Right from the moment they get up, their healthy routine starts," the insider shared. "They drink lemon water every morning before coffee and he acts as her personal trainer, standing over her with his stopwatch getting her to do her lunges and squats and ab work and even light cardio before she even has breakfast."

And you can bet that there is nothing unhealthy on the breakfast menu. In fact, the Red Right Hand actor has actually removed all unhealthy things from their home so there is no temptation! "So there's nothing with gluten, there's no sugar, pretty much everything is vegan. He's always trying out cleanses and he gets Katy to do those too," the source said, while confessing that Katy "hates them all with a passion."

The lack of sugar part of the diet was echoed by another source back in April, who told Life & Style that Katy's trimmer shape was down to making big changes with her diet. "She cut out sugar and processed foods and it really worked," the source said at the time, adding that she eats five small meals a day which contain "lean protein like chicken or fish and fresh veggies and fruits, nuts and seeds."

Some Fans Aren't Buying Katy Perry's Weight Loss Story

Some of the "Firework" singer's fans aren't buying it, and have taken to several social media platforms over the past few months to speculate that she is one of the many celebrities on Ozempic .

The comments section of an Instagram post promoting her new single "Woman's World" was particularly interesting, as so many fans accused her of using the weight loss injection to slim down. "Another Ozempic addicted woman," commented one disappointed fan, as another dubious fan said: "Proper trainers + nutritionist doesn't make you lose weight (fat) so fast. Also, in her face."

Many others took to X and TikTok to share similar thoughts, with one fan simply saying, "Holy Ozempic," and another commenting: "Ozempic is Ozempicking, mother is mothering, we're so back." Another fan asked: "Is this an ad for Ozempic?"
