Path of Exile: Settlers Of Kalguur Unveiled At GGG Live!

Grinding Gear Games has unveiled the Path of Exile 3.25 update, Settlers of Kalguur, launching on July 26th, 2024, with new content and improvements to the game!

Announced during the GGG Live , the latest expansion to Path of Exile , the Settlers of Kalguur , will launch on July 26th, 2024. With the latest expansion, the key features that fans can look forward to are the new Challenge League, two Ascendancy class changes, improvement to the balance, Endgame content updates, and many more, with many quality-of-life features for both PC and console players.

One of the upcoming features that players can look out for in Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur is the Challange League, focusing on players helping Kalguuran pioneers build the town of Kingsmarch as you establish trade between the Wraeclast and their homeland. It will be your job to mine for exotic resources, hire and protect skilled workers to help construct and defend the town and build a harbour to establish and manage trades. After the town is constructed and trade is in progress, players can buy and sell currency and other stackable items in the Currency Trade Market while crafting and recombining powerful weapons and items on the Runesmithing table.

Alongside the Challange League, the Ascendancy Classes will be revamped with the new Warden class and the Gladiator class being reworked. As part of the Settlers of Kalguur expansion for Path of Exile , the Warden will be replacing the Raider class to focus more on elemental attacks, damage mitigation, and a specialization in Tinctures that could be found throughout the land now. Shifting the focus to the Gladiator class, it will maintain powerful skills for Bleeding and Block while receiving a new skill to invest in Retaliation skills to unleash devastating damages after meeting a certain condition during combats.

Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur will also be featuring a list of many balance works, with some being drastic alterations and the Endgame content being updated. Focusing on the balance work, this will affect Melee Skills, Block, Rage, Warcries, Banners, Bleed, Impale, new Base Type to Endgame, buffed Modifiers for Endgame items, Critical Strikes Chances being buffed on weapons, and many more. In terms of Endgame Content, there will be changes to many Scarabs, a 6th Map Device Slot, Tier 16 and Tier 17 maps receiving new encounters, updates to Blights, Ritual, and many more. Lastly, there will be a set of new Chisel types and the drop rate for Valdo’s Puzzle Boxes will increase.

Fans of the Path of Exile on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S won’t have to worry either, as they will also receive an update with the latest expansion, Settlers of Kalguur. Soon, they will be able to take advantage of the latest consoles with their reduced loading time and texture pop-in, improved visual fidelity with the highest resolution texture and water effects, a new upscaling algorithm to improve the dynamic resolution crispness, and an additional anti-aliasing pass.
