For more than a year, Taylor Swift fans have been trading friendship bracelets. And now luxe jewelers are joining in on the trend, too.

Fine-jewelry designers have added upscale versions of the Swiftie staple to their offerings, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday. From Christian Dior and Cartier to Tiffany & Co. and Prada, it seems like just about every label is selling a friendship bracelet these days.

“It harks back to an age when life felt less complicated,” Anja Tyson, a small-business consultant, told the WSJ . “The colorful aesthetic of the bracelet reminds us of a time when we were young and free, and we weren’t constantly staring at screens.”

Tyson herself opts for 14-karat gold versions from Catbird and Scosha. She added that the brightly colored accessories can lend a touch of interest to plain outfits like a black dress or a white T-shirt and jeans. Others see the bracelets as emphasizing a sense of community—the original intention behind Swift fans’ creations.

Roxanne Assoulin makes personalized friendship bracelets at her eponymous brand, using Italian-made enamel and gold-plated beads, The Wall Street Journal noted. Swift herself, along with pals like Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez, have worn her creations, which range from $150 to $500. “A friendship bracelet is a reminder that we are not alone,” Assoulin told the newspaper. “Swapping friendship bracelets” is a way to form connections.

Swift has also sported upscale versions of the signature accessory from Wove: In January, at her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s football game, she donned a bracelet made of white diamond “thread” and yellow gold beads, the WSJ wrote. Now the brand is selling similar styles to the public, starting at $5,680.

In all, the average price for a luxe friendship bracelet is a cool $1,500, according to The Wall Street Journal . And those who aren’t into the rainbow-colored hues of the traditional options will find a slate of more monochromatic accessories. Tiffany is selling all-gold bracelets, while Prada’s $420 cord version can be bought in ivory and black. But if you’re going for the classic Swiftie look, the more color, the better.

“Wearing them seems to bring real joy to a lot of people,” Assoulin said. Just like Swift’s music—and her billion-dollar tour —has brought a whole lot of happiness to her fans.
