UPDATE: Driver being treated for serious injuries after Bayway crash

UPDATE (6:10 p.m.): News 5 is gathering more information about a crash that happened on I-10 Thursday afternoon.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the two-vehicle crash happened at 2:55 p.m. on the I-10 Bayway.

The driver of a 2009 Toyota Venza was seriously injured when the vehicle hit a 2019 Isuzu box truck, according to officials. The driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is continuing to investigate.

UPDATE (4:45 p.m.): Both I-10 eastbound lanes are open after a Thursday afternoon crash on the Bayway near Exit 30, according to ALGO Traffic.

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A moderate crash on I-10 eastbound has slowed traffic in Baldwin County, according to the Alabama Department of Transportation.

The crash happened around 2:43 p.m. Thursday at mile marker 30.53, according to ALGO Traffic, ALDOT’s website.

The left I-10 EB lane is currently blocked, according to ALGO Traffic.
