LIV Golf Leaderboard After 54 Holes At The 2024 Open

There's a three-way tie at the top of the LIV Golf leaderboard at the 2024 Open Championship , with John Catlin, Jon Rahm and Dustin Johnson all at two-over-par.

Catlin, who has been a stand-in replacement on Bryson DeChambeau's Crushers GC team recently, shot the best score of the LIV players in round three courtesy of a two-under-par 69.

He's tied with a couple of two-time Major winners as Rahm and Johnson each shot one-over-par 72s later on in the day in what were very testing conditions.

The trio will have their work cut out to chase the leaders in the final round but all three are still in with a shout of a comeback victory.

Dean Burmester was out ahead and leading the LIV charge but he stumbled badly on the back nine to drop five strokes in his final five holes.

The four-time DP World Tour champion and one-time LIV Golf winner slipped 21 spots down the leaderboard in round three after a five-over-par score of 76.

Joaquin Niemann also slipped down a number of spots after yet another quintuple-bogey following his 8 on the Postage Stamp on Friday. The Chilean carded a nine on the 11th hole after hitting his tee shot onto the railway line.

Five-time Major champion Brooks Koepka surprisingly dropped 49 places down the leaderboard after a seven-over 78, which included five bogeys and a double.

10 of the 17 LIV golfers at Royal Troon made the cut this week, with big names like Tyrrell Hatton, 2016 Troon winner Henrik Stenson, 150th Open winner Cameron Smith and US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau exiting early.

DeChambeau blamed "equipment related" issues for his troubles after an opening 76 and shifts his focus to LIV Golf UK earlier than expected after playing just two days at Troon.
