    ‘Lovelady’ fire in Callahan County engulfs 300+ acres

    CALLAHAN COUNTY, Texas ( KTAB/KRBC ) – A wildfire in Callahan County has engulfed 364 acres of land.

    The fire is located to the north of Putnam (between Baird and Cisco) around County Road 317.

    The Texas A&M Forest Service reported that as of 9:20 p.m. Thursday, the fire had spread 364 acres and was 100% contained.

    At this time, it is unclear if any buildings are affected or if there are any injuries. BigCountryHomepage will provide updates as new information becomes available.
