Janet Jackson candidly revealed her dislike of interviews during a recent appearance on “Heart Evenings with Dev Griffin.”

During the July 17 radio segment, when asked if there’s one particular question she’s tired of hearing, Jackson, 58, responded with honesty.

“I don’t mean to be rude, but I have to be honest with you,” she said. “Please stop asking me questions.”

“I’ve never thought I give a good interview. I really don’t like speaking, so I’d rather stay quiet and listen to other people talk, and that’s always been me,” Jackson added.

“Don’t ask me questions,” added the Grammy-winning singer with a smile, seemingly adding a touch of humor into the situation. “Are we finished?”

The “That’s the Way Love Goes” singer is on the second North American leg of her “ Together Again” tour, which continues until July 30. She will then head to Europe for a string of shows until Oct. 13.

“She is a straight-up superstar who commands the stage like no other pop diva of her era short of Madonna,” The Post’s Chuck Arnold wrote after attending her show at the Barclays Center June 10.

In the radio interview, Jackson also reflected on the artists that inspired her career.

“I have to exclude family because obviously that spoke to me first, seeing my brothers, my sisters, my cousin Stevie [Wonder] — seeing him perform was a huge inspiration,” she said.

“My brothers would often take me with them when they would go to concerts, and I remember seeing Earth, Wind & Fire as a kid — just unforgettable,” Jackson added. “I’ll never forget that. Really blew me away, the musicianship, and then the body of work. I absolutely loved it.

“And then I remember seeing Prince when I was in my early, early, early, early 20s,” she recalled.

“He did some songs that I wasn’t that familiar with and didn’t do songs that I was familiar with, and I thought, ‘If I ever perform on this level, I don’t want to do that. I want to at least do songs that people are familiar with, for sure.’ “

Coming up, the singer has a follow-up to her 2022 documentary titled “Janet Jackson: Family First.” It will follow Jackson on her “Together Again” tour, as well as her collaboration with brother Randy to reunite the family band after a four-decade hiatus.

The project was greenlit by Lifetime in March 2023.

Jackson is an executive producer on the project and is enthusiastic about sharing more of her story with fans in the future.

“I was touched by the love and support from the wonderful fans who enjoyed the documentary last year,” she said at A+E Networks’ 2023-24 upfront presentation last year. “I am excited to continue to share my story, and welcome fans into my life and the Together Again tour. Thank you for your never-ending support, and I hope you enjoy the next chapter.”
