    UPDATE: Dunn County authorities name driver in fatal SUV vs. semi crash

    TOWN OF SPRING BROOK, Wis. (WKBT) -- The name of the person who died in the SUV vs. semi-truck crash has been released.

    The Sheriff's Office has named 77-year-old Wayne Myers as the SUV driver.

    One is dead after a fatal SUV vs. semi-truck crash in Dunn County.

    The Dunn County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to an accident involving a semi-truck and an SUV Wednesday morning in the Town of Spring Brook.

    The SUV driver was unresponsive when Deputies arrived. Lifesaving efforts were attempted on scene, but the driver did not make it.

    On Thursday, authorities identified the man as 77-year-old Wayne Myers.

    According to the Sheriff's Office, the Semi-Truck was heading eastbound on 240th Ave. while the SUV was traveling southbound on 710th St. The collision happened at an intersection after the Myers failed to stop at a stop sign. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

    The semi-truck driver was not injured during the accident.
