VALENCIA COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Valencia County Sheriff’s deputies pull over a suspected drunk driver. They say he failed the field sobriety test and later blew four times the legal limit.

Deputies say on June 9, 52-year-old Javier Lopez was driving on El Cerro Mission Road when deputies say he drove off the road and was seen driving through a stop sign. He even continued to drive all the way home, despite police attempting to pull him over.

“How come you didn’t stop at the stop sign?” says Deputy L. Chavez in newly released lapel footage.

    Lopez: I stopped.
Deputy Chavez: You didn’t stop, I was behind you.
