    Fires prompting evacuations in Bingham Spring and Grouse Mountain areas

    Bingham Springs, Ore. -- Updated at 7:15 p.m.: There are Level 2 (GET SET!) and Level 1 (BE READY!) evacuations in place for fires around the Bingham Springs and Grouse Mountain areas.


    Incident 251 and the Buck Mountain Fire are lightning fires that started on Wednesday, July 17th, 2024 near the Bingham Springs and Grouse Mountain areas in Umatilla County, Oregon.

    Level 2 (GET SET!) Evacuations (Cold Springs Loop Area): South of Highway 204, East of Giger Lane to McDougal Road to include all residences on McDougal, south to Rock Creek including Pine Creek Road system east of Read and Hawley Mountain

    Level 1 (BE READY!) Evacuations (Weston Mountain Area): Residences immediately north of Highway 204 and north to Couse Creek, including portions of Lincton Mountain Rd, from Little Dry Creek, south to the Umatilla River along the reservation boundary down to the South Fork of the Umatilla River and then east to Buck Mountain over to Langdon Lake and north of Langdon Lake up to McIntyre.
