Wresting star Hulk Hogan speaks at the Republican National Convention.

American professional wrestler Hulk Hogan made a mark on the RNC stage Thursday during the convention's fourth and final night ahead of former President Donald Trump's remarks.

Hogan, who told the crowds, “As an entertainer, I try to stay out of politics,” also said "after everything that’s happened to our country over the past four years, and everything that happened last weekend, I can no longer stay silent.”

The wrestler, whose real name is Terry Bollea, called the GOP nominee in the 2024 race for the White House his “hero."

Hogan has made his support for Trump known in recent weeks with various appearances on news programs talking about the former president.

On the RNC stage Thursday night, Hogan spoke about the attempted assassination of Trump, saying, "What happened last week when they took a shot at my hero, and they tried to kill the next president of the United States ... enough is enough!"

Hogan then ripped a black T-shirt he was wearing onstage, tearing it off through the American flag and eagle printed on it to reveal another red T-shirt with Trump's campaign sign printed on the front, in a dramatic WWE-style show of support.

The crowd cheered wildly at the display onstage.
