Livvy Dunne Makes Her Opinion Of Simone Biles Crystal Clear

The 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo is one that Simone Biles will never forget.

The four-time gold-medal winning gymnast was forced to withdraw from several events due to struggles with her mental health and battling a case of the twisties — a phenomenon that causes gymnasts to lose control of their bodies while performing in high-level events.

But because the 2020 Olympics were so harrowing due of the “trauma response” it evoked in Biles — a term she used in the Netflix documentary “Simone Biles Rising” when discussing the incident — LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne believes Biles is due for her moment of vindication at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

“Simone has always been a GOAT (greatest of all time),” Dunne told Sports Illustrated . “And I think that this is like her revenge tour. What happened in 2020 was a freak thing and I think that she’s out for revenge and she’s going to probably win.”

Biles’ Olympic comeback is one of the most anticipated sports moments in recent memory.

The 27-year-old gymnast is also carrying quite a sizeable chip on her shoulder as well, feeling the need to silence those who accused her of straight-up quitting the last time she was on a national stage.

However, Biles doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone. Her resume, which includes four Olympic gold medals, one silver and two bronze, speaks for itself. She also has 32 additional medals between the World Championships and Pacific Rim Championships, making her the most decorated gymnast of all-time.
