Buddy Hield has some big shoes to fill. With Klay Thompson's departure, the Golden State Warriors signed Hield to be Stephen Curry's backcourt mate. Thompson is a Bay Area legend, so it's interesting to see how the former Philadelphia 76ers guard feels about that.

Well, Hield says he doesn't feel any pressure to replace Klay Thompson. During a media interview, the Warriors guard said that he's looking forward to running the same sets Klay did. Hield also said that he was a big fan of Thompson and that he studied his play.

“There’s no pressure,” Hield said. “Just come and do my job. What Klay has done for this organization has been tremendous. I love Klay a lot. I’ve watched him over the years. He’s special. The way he can get hot and the way he can just change the game and be the two-way player that he is, and the champion that he is."

"So, I don’t look at it as pressure. I think it’s fun just being in that role and seeing if I can get the same looks he gets,” Hield continued.

Hield has quietly been one of the best shooters in the NBA over the last few years. He shot 38.9% from deep last season for the 76ers and is a career 40.0% shooter from the outside. Hield should have no problems replacing Thompson's shooting, which became inconsistent last season.
