As of this writing, Vigilante season 2 doesn’t have a release date. On July 19, 2024, JTBC Entertainment News reported that an entertainment official confirmed that season 2 of the series is currently in production. Furthermore, the main cast members who appeared in season 1, including Nam Joo-Hyuk, Yoo Ji-Tae, and Kim So-Jin, will reprise their roles in the second season.

Meanwhile, the production company told the news outlet that they were in the planning stage of the second season. Moreover, the programming is yet to be decided. The actors’ respective agencies have yet to clarify or confirm their casting in Vigilante season 2 .

Vigilante follows the journey of Kim Ji-Yong, a sincere police university student by day who transforms into a vigilante at night. With his hidden identity, he serves justice by punishing criminals involved in heinous activities. His vigilante activities stem from his younger trauma when a criminal murdered his mother in front of his eyes. Meanwhile, Detective Cho Heon (Yoo Ji-Tae) desperately searches for him, with Reporter Choi Mi-Ryeo (Kim So-Jin) following him and his activities as well.
