Earlier this month, Kevin Owens emotionally revealed on SmackDown that his mother, Suzanne Steen, had been hospitalized in Quebec and was “ fighting like hell .” Obviously, this was very worrying to hear, and fans worldwide would be hoping she would be able to recover. And now, in an optimistic update, the WWE star has shared a photograph of her on X still in hospital but captioned “ She kicked out, ” indicating she is on the mend.

40-year-old Owens made his name in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and Ring of Honor before signing with WWE. Yet, while it was always known how talented he was, many suspected his look would hold him back, considering that Vince McMahon typically pushed those with a bodybuilder physique. Still, Owens would seemingly never be held back because of this, becoming a featured performer in both NXT and the main roster and making his family proud when he achieved his career goal of becoming a WWE World Champion in 2016.
