Popeyes Fried Chicken, a familiar name in Palm Beach County, recently faced a routine inspection by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation, resulting in a follow-up review.

The inspection, originating from a complaint at the West Palm Beach location at 2825 N Military Trl on July 15th, found four high-priority violations, ranging from insect issues to improper food storage temperatures.

The inspector's report detailed that the most noticeable high-priority infractions were the presence of live, small flying insects in the kitchen and food preparation areas. This finding prompted a Stop Sale order, as the insects posed a direct issue to food safety.

Additionally, the inspection revealed temperature abuse of time/temperature control for safety food, with raw chicken and shredded cheddar cheese exceeding the permissible 41-degree Fahrenheit threshold.

These violations also triggered Stop Sale orders and corrective action.

Despite the initial violations, this West Palm Beach Popeyes Fried Chicken location successfully met inspection standards during the follow-up review on July 15th.

Customer reviews of the eatery paint a mixed picture of the establishment.

While some patrons noted staffing shortages and long wait times, others praised the accuracy of orders and the cleanliness of the store.

Positive feedback also highlighted exceptional customer service from specific staff members.

A customer named Lakeyma Gentry shared on Google Reviews:

"I usually don't give reviews but I must say that I'm very satisfied with the service that I got. Lucretia showed professionalism, she was very pleasant with a smile on her face."

NOTE: Please note that an inspection report, per the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation, provides a snapshot of the conditions observed during the inspection.
