“We Got Good News”: Watch Luke Bryan Shock Budding Country Star With Grand Ole Opry Invite

While selling over 75 million albums and holding a spot on American Idol, Luke Bryan knows the pain of trying to break into the music industry. Although a top name in the genre, Bryan, like many before him, once stood on the outside looking in. Wanting nothing more than for someone to give him a chance, Bryan eventually received that chance and the rest appeared to fall into place. Always willing to help fellow singers looking to make a name for themselves, Bryan recently shocked singer Vincent Mason when he invited him to perform at the Grand Ole Opry.

Given the history surrounding the Opry, every country singer knows the importance of performing at the historic venue. Welcoming some of the biggest stars in country music over the years, Mason will receive the chance to take the stage in just a few months. Sharing the news on his Instagram page, He captioned the post, writing, “Pretty damn cool to find out you’re gonna be playing at the Grand Ole Opry. It’s even cooler to find out from @lukebryan and getting to have your family there too. I’ve always thought of the @opry as the home of country music and I’m so thankful to get the chance to step in the circle.”

Vincent Mason Shares The Road With Luke Bryan

Still learning to navigate the industry, Mason received some great tips and tricks from Bryan over the last few weeks. Celebrating his Mind of a Country Boy Tour, Bryan decided to bring Mason along for the ride, giving him the chance to open. And there seemed no better way to thank Mason for going on the road than an invitation from the Opry.

Outside of touring the road with Bryan, Mason released his new single “Heart Like This”, which continues to climb the charts. Speaking about the song, the rising country star said, “The sing along aspect of this song made it stand out to everyone who heard it, that was a main reason why we decided to release it. It really just feels on brand, it’s the perfect representation of the songs I want to put out.”
