Here's who won best ice cream spot in the Blue Water Area

We asked for your votes for your favorite ice cream spot in the Blue Water Area, and you certainly answered.

After more than 28,000 votes were cast, we have a winner.

Milkehouse Café earned 11,621, or more than 41% of the votes, in celebration of Sunday's National Ice Cream Day.

According to its website, “A group of friends opened the Milkhouse in 2007 with big dreams, 27 flavors, and three main goals in mind:

1. To provide high quality, hand-dipped ice cream in this area – filling the gap left by London’s Dairy closing.
2. To train young people to have a strong work ethic, customer service experience, and other professional skills.
3. To have a dramatic and positive impact on the community and the larger Blue Water Area.”
