Rap Rising: Denzel Curry Drops 'KOTMS Vol 2' With Juicy J, A$AP Ferg & More

Denzel Curry is back with his most mischievous project to date.

On Friday, July 19, the Miami native delivered his highly-anticipated sixth studio album King of the Mischievous South Vol. 2 via PH Recordings/Loma Vista. Denzel Curry gets busy on 15 tracks including the lead single "SKED" with Kenny Mason & Project Pat , "Hot One" featuring TiaCorine & A$AP Ferg , "Black Flag Freestyle" with That Mexican OT , and "Hoodlumz" featuring A$AP Rocky & PlayThatBoiZay . The latter track tops iHeartRadio's Rap Rising playlist. The album also contains fresh collaborations with Maxo Kream , Juicy J , Ty Dolla $ign , Armani White , Ski Mask The Slump God and more.

Denzel's new project is an homage to the groundbreaking southern artists who've impacted Hip-Hop forever, and a culmination of the iconic run Curry has been on for nearly a decade. It's the follow-up to his 2022 LP Melt My Eyez See Your Future . The album also serves as the sequel to his 2012 mixtape King of the Mischievous South, Vol. 1.

The 29-year-old isn't the only Dade County native to drop new music this week. JT also delivered her new mixtape City Cinderella featuring DJ Khaled , Stunna Girl and Jeezy . Mike Smiff also dropped his new album Thinking Out Loud , which holds collaborations with BossMan Dlow , Tee Grizzley and more. Meanwhile, Rob49 , Cardi B , Big Sean , 4batz , G Herbo and others also debuted fresh tracks today.
