The Chase , fronted by Bradley Walsh , is simply ITV's biggest quiz show. It's been on our screens since 2009 and the format where the professional quiz players known as The Chasers try to chase down the contestants to stop them from winning is simply brilliant.

Is The Chase on today? And what time is The Chase on?

The Chase is on Friday 19 July at 5 pm on ITV1. The episode on Friday is a repeat from series 15. Bradley Walsh presents as Mark from Bootle, James from London, Lisa from Crawley and Sue from Sunderland pit their wits against one of the ruthless Chasers.

On Sunday, July 21 ITV1 is airing a Celebrity Special of The Chase at 7 pm which is a repeat from series 11. The I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here special features former participants AJ Pritchard, Hollie Arnold, Giovanna Fletcher and Russell Watson.

The Chase is on Monday, July 22 at 5 pm on ITV. All that stands between Martin from Rotherham, Cathy from Cheshire, Nadine from south London and Eric originally from Haverfordwest is one of the country's finest quiz brains.

The Chase is on Tuesday, July 23 at 5 pm on ITV1. Deborah from London, Michelle from Leeds, Onawale from Kent and Matt from Hertfordshire compete.

The Chase is on Wednesday, July 24 at 5 pm on ITV1. Contestants Dave, Chloe, Lucy and Darren pit their wits against one of the ruthless Chasers.

The Chase is on Thursday, July 25 at 5 pm on ITV1. Simon from Drumsurn, Sharon from Newtongrange, Leah from Manchester and Mayank from London work together as a team.

Who are The Chasers in 2024?

The current chasers in 2024 are Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Jenny Ryan, Paul Sinha, Darragh Ennis and Anne Hegerty. Anne, who's known as The Governess, once revealed to us that she was originally going to be called The Headmistress. "But in rehearsals, Bradley started calling me The Governess and I said 'Could I be that instead?' It’s a bit more kinky, a Governess is definitely more of a free agent than a headmistress."
