Jake Paul has reveaked that boxing icon Mike Tyson warned him he was risking their upcoming bout by agreeing to a fight with Mike Perry.
The internet sensation turned boxer was all set to fight it out with 58-year-old heavyweight titan Tyson in a Texas showdown anticipated to draw over 80,000 spectators this weekend. However, Tyson had to pull out two months prior due to an ulcer flare-up during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles, leading to a rescheduled match on November 15.
In the meantime, Paul is keeping his gloves up by stepping into the ring with bare-knuckle brawler and ex-UFC fighter Perry. At the press conference on Wednesday, Paul opened up about his decision to enter the fray before his end-of-year clash with Tyson.

"This is what I do, I'm here to fight," he declared. "I'm not in the gym just to be in the gym; I like to put it on the line, I love to take risks and do big events. He's a dangerous man, we had to keep the date alive and keep things going. I'm on a path to becoming world champion and I'm not slowing down for anybody.
"Mike Tyson called and said, 'What are you doing, Mike Perry is a killer, you could jeopardize everything, the biggest fight of your career and the biggest pay day of your career'. That's what puts the pressure on me, that's what raises the stakes and I love that, I come alive in those moments and he most certainly is not going to be the one to stop me.
"Both are killers and both are super-dangerous; that's why I wanted to keep this fight card alive, stay active and keep getting experience under the bright lights. This is a Mike appetiser, a Mike warm-up but they're both killers at the end of the day. I do have to be sharp, he does have one punch KO power which I have to respect but other than that it's going to be easy.
"I'm staying focused and staying locked in. This fight came about because he has a crazy fanbase and any time I would post an Instagram picture, one of the top comments would always be 'Fight Mike Perry' so I love to prove people wrong and take fights people don't think I'm going to take."
